A New Toolchain Release for GCC for Renesas RX Is Ready for Download
The highly popular Renesas target, RX, is receiving a refreshed version of the toolchain today: version 8.3.0.202202. The updates, improvements or issues resolved are documented in the release notes of the toolchain. You may download it from here.

Thank you very much about this effort.
As a minor improvement proposal for future releases, it would be better to release the source code in tar.gz (or tar.xz) so that it maintains the executable flags of some of the files (like configure and move-if-change). The zip files do not have execution flag information.
