5月 23, 2017 Commented Hi Grigore, Yes, I would expect that to compile correctly as the struct is defined in the cpp file. As mentioned in my comment to your previous answer, I found the solution as I tried to initialize inside the header file. This was not permitted and as soon I split the definition to be in header and initialization in cpp file, my problem disappeared. The syntax is from C and not C++ (so I am told), and since I was mixing, it gave me that problem. In the future I will check how to attach my files. Thank you Cheers Michael

5月 22, 2017 Commented Hi Grigore, Thank you for responding. The capital P is a typo in my post as I didn't copy the code. It was too big to fit. I am sure E2 is using g++ as I started the project as a c++ projects, and my extensions of the files are already cpp and hpp. Again a typo and should have written "Compiler" and not GCC. The uint8_t is already included using stdint.h Later on today I will test my previous comment on splitting the definition and initialization and only define in the header and initialice in the cpp file. 5月 22, 2017 Commented Hi I found the mistake in my code.... searching for "initializing static member c++" reveals that the code put in a class is interpreted as c++ and not to be initialized in the header. If not put in a class the compiler most likely see it as C code and not C++. I will split the code into definition in the header class, and initialize the array in the cpp file. This should give me a class member "port_reg_addr_map" and work as expected.

5月 20, 2017 Commented Hi When I in my Mingw setup add a class and define my struct inside this class, it reports the exact same error. Is it normal that a struct that compiles normally, create an error when defined in a class?

9月 26, 2016 Commented Hi Grigore, Changing to newlib does fix the problem. What I find misleading is the fact that the same include paths are shown in the project, and stdint.h found in them although not being part of the Optimized library. Regards Michael

One of these contains a file called stdint.h, which is why i expected the compiler to find such a file.
