May 3, 2017 Commented Hello, A new project generated by e2 Studio should suffice - that should act as a first functional template. In this case, an error should not be generated - if it happens, it is certainly a bug and we would be willing to investigate it further, assuming we can reproduce it. For the issue described above, we have tried to reproduce that on several devices using different versions of e2 Studio, but have been unsuccessful. February 22, 2017 Commented Hello, We recommend using rl78-elf-gcc for linking as well, which will automatically link the correct libraries. To link using the compiler driver you need to omit options like -c -E and -S, more info on the type of output here: https://gcc.gnu.org/onlinedocs/gcc/Overall-Options.html Otherwise, if you wish to use rl78-elf-ld for linking, please identify which libraries is the compiler using based on your options, by passing "-v" option when compiling and linking a small sample program as follows: rl78-elf-gcc -v test.c /*your compile options except -c/-S/-E */ — Thank you, Noemi Bugyi The GNU Tools Team
